Rama's throne was being prepared. Tiger skin at the feet and the white umbrella was placed above. Everyone was waiting for Maharajah and Rama to come.
Taken place at the same time the people were waiting:
- Sumantra went to find Dasharatha to wake him up
- Kaikeyi met Sumantra and told him to summon Rama because Maharajah needs to speak to him
- Rama leaves and tells Sita he will return quickly
- Sita invokes the gods so they will bless and protect him
Rama was praised as he was carried in his chariot and women throwing flowers to him.
Rama entered to the inner courts and made his way before the Maharajah.
Rama saw his father and his face was full of grief
Dasharatha began to cry
Rama asks if he's offended his sire and asks his mother why his father is crying and full of grief.
Kaikeyi tells him that if he is ready to obey his fathers will and preserve his honor then he will be able to depart the day from the city to govern the kingdom
Rama was unmoved and said he will fulfill the vow and obey his command. But the said he will let Bharata to be summoned from Girivrajah and then he well hasten to the jungle of Dandaka.
