A long time ago there were Goats that lived in a cave that was on the side of a hill. Not far from the Goat cave there was a cave that housed a Wolf and his mate. The Wolves liked the taste of Goat-meat so they would catch the Goats that lived nearby. The Wolves caught all the goats that lived nearby except for one. The Wolf and his mate called this Goat the Wise Goat. The Wolf told his mate that they should play a trick on the Wise Goat so they can catch him and eat him.
The Wolf pretended to be dead and the other Wolf told the Goat that her mate is dead. She then asked the Goat if she could be friends with the Wise Goat. The Goat told her no because they ate all her other Goat friends. The Goat also said that she is afraid to get closer to the Wolf and her mate. The Wolf said not to be afraid because what can a dead wolf do? The Goat finally gave in and went with the Wolf.
So the Wolf led the Goat up the hill. The other Wolf heard them coming and he lifted his head. The Goat saw him lift his head and asked the Wolf why her dead friend lifted his head. The Wolf couldn't give the Goat a good answer, so the Goat ran away back to her cave.
The Wolves were still hungry so the Wolf asked his mate to play a trick on the Goat again. This time the Wolf went to talk to the Goat. She said to the Goat that her mate feels better and they wanted the Goat to come be friends with them. The Goat knew they were playing another trick on her, so she decided to play a trick on the Wolves. The Goat told the Wolf that she is going to invite her friends. The Wolf was confused so she asked the Goat who were her friends. The Goat told the Wolf that her friends are the two hounds, Old Gray and Young Tan, and the big dog named Four-Eyes. The Wolf didn't want to hear anymore so she ran back to her mate. The Goat never saw the Wolves again.
