one day there was a lion who found a wolf by himself. the wolf knew he couldn't get away in time to he begged the lion the him live in the den to be the lions mate. the lion knew that he shouldn't be friends with a wolf because that is what is father and mother told him. but the lion was pleased to hear the wolf call him "great lion".
the lion thought that this wolf was different from all the other wolves, so he agreed to let the wolf live with him. the lion takes the wolf back to his den where he lived with his mother and father. the father did not want the wolf living in the den but the lion didn't care. the lion thought he knew better than his father, so the wolf stayed.
a few weeks later the wolf complains about how they keep eating the same meats over and over again. the wolf told the lion that he wants to eat horse meat. the lion didn't know where to get horse meat, but the wolf did. the wolf told the lion the there were ponies by the river. so the wolf and lion went down to the river, caught a pony, and brought it back up to the den.
the father was upset with the lion because the ponies belonged to the king. the father knew if they kept killing the ponies then the archers would kill you. the lion didn't care and continued to kill the ponies with the wolf. after a few ponies were killed the archers were called out to kill the predators. the young lion got shot by one of the archers. he called out the wolf to help him but the wolf ignored the lion and the lion died.
