I chose the Public Domain Edition of Ramayana because it is free, but also because it has links to the characters/places and audio if needed. The links to the characters and places will be extremely helpful to me because this is my first time being exposed to Indian Epics and culture.
I looked at The Churning of the Ocean, Surya: How the Sun God Was Tamed, Underwater Cities, and Weapons of the Gods, for comic books and videos. I chose these because I am interested in topics like the ocean and topics like Gods and Goddesses. I was planning on taking the Mythology and Folklore class instead of Indian Epics, but by the time I got to enroll, the M&F class was already full. So I am excited to see that I can still read about Gods and Goddesses this semester.

I chose this photo because I like the details in the sculpture. Source
