There was a Quail who lived on a farm. Anytime the farmer ploughed the land, the Quail would hop over the clods. The Quail would collect seeds, weeds, and worms when the farmer ploughed. The Quail relied on the farmer to plough so he can eat.

On day the Quail decided not to rely on the farmer anymore and flew away from the farm towards the forest. The Quail flew towards the edge of the forest and then walked in to find some food. While the Quail looked for worms, there was a Falcon at the top of the trees looking down for food. The Falcon spotted the Quail and swooped down and caught him.

The Quail tried to escape from the Falcon. He tried to turn and get loose from the Falcon's claws, but nothing worked. Then the Quail started to cry. The Quail cried about how he shouldn't have left his farm to try to eat others food.

The Falcon overheard the Quail and told the Quail that regardless if the Quail entered the forest or stayed on the farm, that he could catch the Quail. So the Falcon dropped the off at the farm.

The Quail told the Falcon about the clods, but the Falcon didn't want to listen to him. The Quail picked the biggest clod and perched on top of it. The Quail started yelling at the Falcon to come down and get him. So the Falcon flew down to go catch the Quail. The Quail dodged the Falcon by tumbling over the side of the clod. The Falcon had no time to react because he was going too fast. Since the Falcon was going too fast the impact against the clod killed him.

The Quail realized that it was better for him to stay where he's used to.
