One day there was a Lion who left his cave and looked all around to find something to eat. He saw a Buffalo and knew that is what he wanted to eat. The Lion attacked the Buffalo and ate all of the Buffalo's meat. When the Lion finished he went down to the lake to get something to drink. The Lion wanted to take a nap so he headed back to his den where he came across a hungry Wolf. The Wolf knew he had no chance of getting away from the Lion, so he threw himself at the Lion and asked to be the Lion's servant. The Lion said okay and went to take his nap.

When the Lion woke up he told the wolf to go to the top of mountain every day to look for elephants, horses, or buffaloes. Then the Lion said to the Wolf if you see any then you need to tell me so I can go and catch the food. Everyday the Wolf would see the animals down below and tell the Lion to go catch them. The Wolf became bigger and stronger everyday and realized he could go and catch his own food.

The Wolf told the Lion that he wanted to catch and eat his own elephants. The Lion told the Wolf that only Lions can catch and kill elephants and that he's never seen a Wolf kill an elephant before. Despite what the Lion told the Wolf, the Wolf still wanted to kill the elephant. The Lion said fine, we'll do it your way.

So the Lion kept watch for the elephant. When the elephant came by he told the Wolf that it was here. The Wolf ran out of the den, howled three times, and sprung at the elephant. The Wolf missed the elephant and the elephant raised its foot and landed on the Wolf. The Wolf died instantly. The Lion watch this all happend and said that the Wolf was foolhardy.
